Our Story

Our story began when founder Michael Oradini Jr., also known as Monkey Mike, discovered the mesmerizing world of fire spinning in 2019. Captivated by the artistry, skill, and camaraderie found in flow arts festivals and fire spinning communities, he dedicated himself to mastering poi, staff, hooping, fans, and other props. He began sharing his passion through informal jam sessions and performances, sparking curiosity among friends and local audiences.

Those early gatherings soon evolved into structured classes, immersive workshops, and performance opportunities. By 2025, Monkey Mike had transformed his personal passion into a community‑driven enterprise, officially founding Burn Monkeys Fire Flow. Our mission expanded to include not only teaching techniques but also providing safety certifications and equipment guidance, ensuring that students could learn responsibly and confidently.

Today, Burn Monkeys Fire Flow stands as a comprehensive fire arts school. We offer courses in fire poi mastery, staff techniques and contact moves, hoop and fan choreography, dragon staff and nunchaku tricks, and fire performance and choreography. Our experienced instructors bring years of professional performance and teaching to nurture students at every level. With a mix of in‑person classes, virtual lessons, digital ebooks, and online training, we make flow arts accessible to learners worldwide.
